No, you do not need to be a member to book time at Head Space Studios.

Members can book directly through their account using the Book Now calendar, as long as they are signed in and have available credits. Members may also benefit from preferred pricing and more flexible booking options through their account.

Non-members can still book our spaces through Peerspace using this link: Book Head Space Studios on Peerspace.

If you are planning to book more regularly, creating an account and booking through Head Space Studios may be the better option. If you are not sure which route is best for your needs, our team will be happy to help.

About Memberships

Becoming a member of Head Space Studios is simple. Just click Log In / Sign Up in the main menu, create your account, and complete your member profile.

Once your account is set up, you can purchase studio hours, classes, and merch through the platform. To be able to book time on the studio calendar, you must complete your profile first.

Completing your profile helps us make sure your account is fully set up for booking access and gives you a smoother experience when reserving studio time. If you need any help creating your account or finishing your profile, our team will be happy to assist.

Being a member at Head Space Studios gives you a more convenient and flexible way to access our creative spaces. Members can create an account, manage their profile, purchase studio hours, and book directly through the platform once their profile is complete.

Membership also gives you a smoother booking experience, direct access to the booking calendar, and potential pricing advantages compared to public booking options. It is a great fit for creatives, brands, and teams who plan to use our spaces more regularly.

Head Space Studios includes multiple creative environments, including our LEMP location with the cyclorama and our Washington Ave location with the ballroom and podcast rooms, with additional locations planned in the future. This gives members more flexibility when choosing the setup that best fits their project.

In addition to studio access, members can also purchase classes and merch through their account, keeping everything in one place. If you need help getting started, our team is happy to assist.

Becoming a member of Head Space Studios is free. There is no cost to create an account and complete your member profile.

To actively book time through the calendar, you must have credits in your account. Credits are used to reserve studio time, so while membership itself is free, booking requires an active credit balance.

Once your account is set up, you can purchase studio hours, classes, and merch through the platform. If you need help understanding how credits work or what to purchase for your needs, our team is happy to help.

About Our Spaces

Equipment at Head Space Studios varies by location and by the type of space you book, so you can choose the setup that best fits your project.

Our LEMP location includes a full studio environment with a cyclorama, color wall, apple boxes, C-stands, non-flash studio lights, and a variety of set props for photo and video productions.

Our Washington Ave location includes our main studio space, internally known as the ballroom, which offers a similar production setup with apple boxes, C-stands, non-flash studio lights, and set props, but does not include a cyclorama. This location also includes podcast rooms equipped with microphones, cameras, lights, a mixing board, a TV, and sound tech support.

Because equipment may vary depending on the location and room reserved, we recommend checking the details of the specific space you plan to book. If you are not sure which space is best for your project, our team is happy to help.

Yes. To help protect our spaces and equipment for everyone, we ask all guests and members to follow a few basic equipment use guidelines:

  1. Care and Responsibility: All equipment should be handled with care and used responsibly. Please follow any instructions provided by our team.
  2. On-Site Use Only: Equipment is intended for use within Head Space Studios only and may not be removed from the premises without prior authorization.
  3. Cyclorama Use: At our LEMP location, any use of the cyclorama must follow studio guidelines to help protect the surface and keep it in good condition for future bookings.
  4. Track and Floor Protection: Any equipment that could mark, drag, or damage floors, walls, or studio surfaces should be properly protected before use.
  5. Safe Operation: All equipment must be used in a safe and appropriate manner. If anything appears damaged or is not working properly, please notify our team right away.

These guidelines help us maintain a professional, creative environment across all Head Space Studios locations. If you have questions about a specific piece of equipment or setup, our team is happy to help before your session.

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own equipment to Head Space Studios.

Many guests and members choose to bring their own cameras, lenses, memory cards, batteries, and other production gear so they can work with the equipment they know best. Our spaces are designed to accommodate a variety of creative setups, whether you are shooting photo, video, or podcast content.

While Head Space Studios offers equipment and amenities that vary by location and room, bringing your own gear can give you added flexibility during your session. We just ask that all personal equipment be used responsibly and in a way that protects the space and any studio equipment on site.

If you have questions about compatibility, setup, or what is included in a specific space, our team is happy to help before your booking.

At our Washington Ave location, amenities include our main studio space, seating areas, props, and podcast rooms designed for recording and content creation. This location offers a different type of creative setup, depending on the space you book.

Across Head Space Studios, guests may also have access to features such as flexible set areas, lounge or seating space, and creative backdrops that help support a variety of productions. Amenities may vary by location and room, so we recommend reviewing the details of the specific space you plan to reserve.

If you are not sure which location best fits your project, our team is happy to help.

These hours are designed to give members and guests flexibility when booking time across our spaces. Availability may still depend on the specific location, room, and booking calendar.

For bookings made directly through Head Space Studios, we require at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations.

If you are booking as a member through your account, please make sure to cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled session. This helps us keep the calendar fair and available for others.

For non-member bookings made through Peerspace, the cancellation policy is determined by Peerspace and may follow a different timeframe. We recommend reviewing the policy listed directly on your Peerspace booking.

Yes, parking options are available, but they vary by location.

At our LEMP location, street parking is available nearby. This location also has a load-in and load-out side door for added convenience. Please note that the side door has approximately a 3.5-foot step up, so larger or heavier items may require extra assistance.

At our Washington Ave location, paid street parking is available nearby.

Because parking conditions can vary depending on the time of day and the location you book, we recommend allowing a little extra time before your session.

Yes. Bathroom and changing access is available on-site, though it varies by location.

At our LEMP location, bathrooms are available within the Lemp Brewery complex and can also be used as changing space during your session.

At our Washington Ave location, bathrooms are available on-site, and there is also a separate wardrobe room available for changing and prep.

As your session nears its end, we kindly ask that you start wrapping up approximately 30 minutes before your scheduled end time. Here’s a quick checklist of what to do:

  • Gear and Props: Please ensure all equipment and props are returned to their original locations. Keeping the studio tidy ensures a seamless experience for the next guest.
  • Clean Up: Help us maintain a clean and inviting space by disposing of any trash generated during your session. Sweep or wipe down any areas you used, leaving the studio in the same pristine condition you found it.
  • Security Measures: Prior to leaving, please ensure all doors are closed securely behind you. Click the lock button and push the door to confirm it’s properly locked. Don’t forget to secure the back door as well.

Your cooperation in following these guidelines is highly appreciated. It helps us maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all members.

Head Space Studios is not responsible for any personal belongings or equipment left on the premises, so we strongly encourage all guests and members to double-check that they have all of their items before leaving.

If any personal items are found by our team or by another guest, we will do our best to place them in a designated storage area for safekeeping. However, we cannot guarantee the security, condition, or recovery of items left behind.

If you believe you left something at Head Space Studios, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help locate it.
